Moxibustion

"Moxa" is a very popular treatment used in China. Moxa is a warming herb (mugwort) that is burned over the body to stimulate acupuncture points with heat. Moxa is applied for a variety of conditions but one of the most well known is to help encourage breech babies to turn.

Prenatal Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a safe, effective treatment for many of pregnancies side effects such as: morning sickness, nausea, fatigue, restless legs, insomnia, aches/pains, beech presentation, sciatica, and more. 

Regular treatments also support spontaneous labor (not needing an induction) and a timely labor and birth.

Electro Acupuncture

Electro Acupuncture is the use of electric current attached to the acupuncture needles. The purpose of this treatment is to reduce muscle spasm, provide a stronger stimulation to points, and to stimulate the nervous system. Electro Acu has been shown to be very effective at treating pain, post-stroke, and women's health conditions/fertility.

Cupping Treatment

Cupping therapy

Cupping therapy is a great modality for stress, muscle tension, respiratory conditions, colds/flus, and more.

Cupping is not advised for all patients.

Herbal Medicine

Chinese herbal medicine is personalized for each person depending on what symptoms and disease pathology are present. Herbs can be taken as a tincture, capsule, or tea. Herbs are a great option to supplement acupuncture treatments or as a stand alone therapy.
